Frequently Asked Questions – How Far do You Travel as a Wedding Officiant?
As a wedding officiant in Montreal, Quebec, I often get asked how far I travel for the ceremonies. I’m always excited to take part in a celebration of love and joy and understand that often they will not be held near me. I am happy and willing to travel for a wedding celebration within reason. IF the travel time exceeds 1 hour, then there may be an additional fee added for the travel time to cover time and gas. It will however be my pleasure to discuss your plans with you to ensure that the day runs smoothly, and I will be able to help you celebrate your special day.
I am also keenly aware of the construction delays road closures and traffic that often occurs in and around the city. I always organize my travel time and schedule to allow me to arrive at your location thirty minutes in advance minimum to be able to coordinate with the photographer, videographer, DJ, musicians, and anyone else implicated in the run of the show.
As a wedding officiant in Montreal, Quebec who speaks, English, French, and Italian, I am also aware that it is rare to find an officiant who speaks all these languages, so I am willing to travel a little further with a fee to make your day extra special, for you and your guests.
