Frequently Asked Questions – Can a Wedding Officiant Have a Rehearsal?
As a wedding officiant in Montreal, Quebec, I often get asked if we can have a run of the day. When you are signing a contract with an officiant, you get to pick the package that you want with the traditions that you want included. In the package outline, the order of the ceremony will be listed which will allow everyone to know exactly what is happening and when.
What are my choices if I have several people participating in the ceremony?
Firstly, as an officiant in Montreal, Quebec it is my mission to make your day as special as possible, and as stress-free as possible. I can create a schedule that will include the names of the people and when they are to perform their task. I will also be calling them up to the microphone as the ceremony proceeds.
Some couples will feel more reassured with a rehearsal. We can do this the day before or a few days before the event depending on availability with a small added fee. Your day should run smoothly, be stress free, and be filled with love and joy.
